How to use A-SUB Waterslide decal paper

For Inkjet Printers Print your design on the glossy side of the paper. Dry the print for 10 minutes. Spray 2–3 light coats of clear acrylic spray evenly. Let it dry completely. Cut out your design. Soak it in warm water (20–30 seconds) until the decal slides easily. Slide & Apply the image onto your surface. Remove bubbles with a soft cloth or card. Dry naturally or bake gently if the item is heat-safe.

Why need use clear acrylic sealer

We recommend spraying a clear acrylic sealer or clear spray varnish over the printed Waterslide Decal paper to protect the design and make it water-resistant. Make sure the ink is completely dry before spraying, and apply 2–3 light coats, allowing each coat to dry before adding the next. This step is especially important when using an inkjet printer.

Is the A-SUB waterslide transfer waterproof and durable?

If applied and sealed properly, A-SUB Waterslide Decal Paper will not come off easily when washed. ✨ Here are a few tips to make it last longer: Seal the design well – Apply 2–3 clear acrylic spray coats before transferring. Let it cure – Allow the decal to dry completely (at least 24 hours) before washing. Hand wash only – Avoid dishwashers or soaking in hot water. Gently clean with mild soap and a soft sponge. With proper care, your design will stay beautiful and durable! 💧

Which surfaces are suitable for a-sub waterslide transfers?

A-SUB waterslide decal paper works on smooth, non-porous surfaces, including:Glass，Ceramic，Metal，Plastic，Resin，Glossy wood，Candles，Nail art Not suitable for fabric or rough/porous surfaces.

"What should I seal with that won’t look lumpy or bumpy?

"To keep your waterslide decal smooth and avoid any lumpy or bumpy texture, I recommend using a clear acrylic spray sealer (gloss or matte). Spray 3–4 light coats instead of one heavy coat—this helps everything dry flat and even. If you're sealing after applying the decal, a clear gloss spray or Mod Podge spray (not the brush-on version) works best. Avoid thick brush-on sealers, as they can leave texture."
