Sublimation Transfer Process
A-SUB Sublimation Paper FAQ
What is the difference between A-SUB 125GSM , 120 GSM and 105 GSM sublimation paper?
125gsm Sublimation Paper:
125gsm Sublimation Paper is often chosen for designs that require high-quality printing, intricate details, or bold colors. It's commonly used for items like custom t-shirts, garments, and textiles that demand a professional finish.
120gsm Sublimation Paper:
Slightly lighter than 125gsm, this paper is still substantial enough to handle detailed prints but might have a slightly more delicate feel.
120gsm Sublimation Paper can be used for a variety of applications, from basic t-shirt designs to more detailed graphics. It provides a balance between quality and economy, making it a versatile choice for different printing needs.
105gsm Sublimation Paper:
This type of Sublimation Paper is relatively lighter compared to the others, which can result in a softer feel on the transferred design. It might be suitable for designs with fewer intricate details.
105gsm Sublimation Paper is often selected when comfort and a softer finish are priorities. It might be used for casual wear or applications where the design detail is less critical.
Can I sublimate on dark fabrics?
Unfortunately no. Printing dye sublimation inks onto darker fabrics is still an issue. You cannot sublimate on dark fabrics because these materials are already colored. If you want to sublimate on any colorful fabric other than black, you can use a darker ink-like black and make your printing visible.
